Recognition as Maastrichts Composer

I am very happy to announce that the Maastricht Composers Foundation has added me to their site with my own online page. The chairman of the Maastrichtse Componisten Patrick Eggen has announced the opening of the page on their News page. In addition to my biography, there is an overview of video recordings of many of my works. I feel honored to be able to take my place among fellow composers whom I have great respect for, such as my composition teacher John Slangen.

Jazz Guitar & Cello

Jazz guitar and cello are an unusual combination but I have written and arranged some music aiming at the point where jazz meets composed music that I am very exited about!

New Music Nights 2022 - Works of students of the composition class Conservatory Maastricht

Wonderful evening at the Maastricht Conservatory where students of my former composition professor Vykintas Baltakas presented their annual new works. Nikolas Agrafiotis, Hon Ning, V. Noel, Konstantinos Loumpas, Jien Chir, Asja Kasic, Nader Adabnejad presented a wide range of musical ideas ranging from the thoughtful to in-your- face percussive to the hilarious with audience participation. However they all had one thing in common: the understanding that composition deals with the careful development of the musical idea in order to create coherency. Hope to see you all again next year.
